This is the finest casual belt we have ever made. These handmade belts
are created from a single 10 - 11 ounce English Bridle Leather strap.
English Bridle Leather Is a type of leather tannage that is dyed at the
tannery and the back of the leather is smoothed so that it slides
gracefully through your belt loops when you put your belt on. The next
step, and what makes this leather so special, is that the entire side is
plunged into a vat of heated fats and oils which makes this special
leather so strong, durable, and yet very flexible. These straps are cut
to width and then we round the edges so that they do not curl out when
you wear it. After this beveling, the edges are dyed black and
burnished to produce the ultimate casual belt. These belts are
available up to size 72".
The buckles we use are oval shaped (photos to come) and available in
either solid brass or chrome and included in the price of the belt.
They are mounted with a complimentary Chicago post which screws together
so that you can interchange buckles any time you want.
Available in Black, Chocolate, Burgundy, and Tan
To find the right size for your new belt, simply run a tape measure
through your belt loops. This measurement will be the center hole on
your new belt. Please understand, since these belts are custom made,
they are not returnable.
